Welcome to World Cultures

World Cultures is a composite study of three regions around the globe. Each culture includes geography, customs, social systems, religion, government, art, music, and literature of the region. Thinking skills including interpretation, analysis and evaluation are used in class to gain an understanding of other cultures as they relate to our own. By keeping tuned to current events in the area, we can gain insight into the ideas and attitudes, which directly affect us. The Mid East, South Asia, and Africa are areas of concentration in this course.
